PantySalad started in November 2007 with the goal of having the world’s largest ladies underwear (panty/knicker) site. It grew to over 12,400 different kinds and colors of panties! All were photographed with the same camera, using the same background, using the same mannequin at the same 8 angles for consistency. All panties were rated for VPL risk and stretch factor. You could search by brand name, size, country of origin, front material, back material, style, and even the gusset type. Best of all, animated GIFs were used to rotate all the panties automatically. Very cool!
iPhone app
In 2015, an iPhone app was built. It worked great and lets the user see the same photos by rotating the panties with their finger. It had an easy-to-use shopping cart, a fun panty game, and a very cool search feature to help people find exactly what they’re looking for. The iPhone app was removed in 2019 to focus on KnickerSalad.
KnickerSalad
KnickerSalad.com was a sister site built with Shopify in 2018 to gain a new audience and experiment with some different features and payment methods.
We redid all new photos of every panty using a better camera, a better mannequin and a black background. Since we had them out for display, we also measured their stretch value and put them into new categories such as Maternity, Sport, and Bridal.
KnickerSalad.com was successful but we shut it down when Adorees.com started.
Adorees.com
Adorees.com was created in 2021 to replace both sites while our new home in Costa Rica was being built and everything was in flux.
Our new home is finished, and all inventory has arrived in Costa Rica. We may have a physical store in Tamarindo, Nosara, Santa Cruz, or Nicoya. Stay tuned!
